The Lakeview Estates neighbourhood is a middle class area filled with link homes and detached homes which are 3 bedrooms and 4 bedrooms that were built mostly prior to the 1990's. The Lakeview Estates neighbourhood's homes are mostly older but have been upgraded with newer kitchens, furnaces, central air conditioning systems, windows, roofs, and other upgrades and features that were not developed when the homes were built. Due to the age, size and lay out of the homes there is typically no access from the garage into the home. | The Lakeview Estates neighbourhood which is the area of Thornhill in the City of Vaughan is bounded by Dufferin Street to the west, Bathurst Street to the east, Steeles Avenue West to the south and the CN Rail Tracks to the north. It is one of the smallest areas in all of the Greater Toronto Area. The Lakeview Estates area is known for its quick access to public transportation routes, one major plaza in the area, two public schools, parks, and many other amenities that are nearby. The area is also known as a family community with many people raising young families in the area and even more people who already raised families who may be second generation in the area.
